Extra Ed’s coding program is a core part of STEM, as it features modern technology and mathematics. We use a coding platform specifically designed for kids called Scratch, where students can learn the logic of programming while building games and animations. The platform is very intuitive, colourful and fun, allowing kids to use their imagination to bring their ideas to life.
Coding is everywhere these days, and our program prepares kids to deal with the more complex languages they will face in the future while having fun learning it all. This program is a fantastic way to build confidence with math and computer science, and develop students’ creativity, logical thinking, and problem solving skills.
