COURSE OVERVIEW

New media is an evolving field that helps us make sense of the world and communicate our unique perceptions. Our range of courses show students how to use storytelling, artistic expression, and thoughtful journalism to share their ideas and examine the ideas of others, whether through a web site, TikTok, a podcast, or a single photograph.

Extra Ed provides hands-on practice with courses on film, photography, and web design. Students have a range of choice of which media to express themselves through, always being guided by skilled, creative instructors through projects from conception to completion.

Both novice and experienced new media artists are welcome to learn the latest new media technologies, their applications, and the age-old principles of creating impactful and exciting messages.
