Science is all around us, so why not explore it? In our Science Club program, students will learn about the preparation of food through the lens of science and the humanities, breaking down processes and ingredients and analyzing them in microscopic detail! Instructors guide students through experiments, activities, and games as they discover how foods’ native land dictates its preparation just as much as how quickly you stir batter or change even a single ingredient. As students build confidence and critical thinking skills, they’ll let their creativity loose as they make pet food, responsibly forage, recognize healthy and unhealthy food colours, and more.
