Course Overview

Are you feeling checkmated? Pinned? Skewered? Are your pieces not working together as a team? Or are you new to chess, and just want to learn more about this awesome game?

Extra Ed offers online chess programs to players of all experience levels to help bring your skills to the next level. Chess is a brilliant game that has been around for over a thousand years; with more move possibilities than atoms in our universe!

Chess is known to also help you strategize in your day-to-day life, and has an amazing impact on our brains. From learning the basics of how to move the pieces to advanced tactics and endgame patterns, we offer multiple levels and different length courses. We can teach you how to play strategic openings, plan your attacks and checkmate your opponents. It’s your move!

Chess Level 1 Learn about the chessboard and pieces.
Chess Level 2 Learn and practice checks and checkmates.
Chess Level 3 Learn intermediate tactics such as pinning and skewering.
Chess Level 4 Learn intermediate rules such as En Passant, draws, and advanced endgame theory.
Chess Level 5 Learn advanced opening, middle, and endgame strategies using all the rules and moves from previous levels.
Chess Level 6 Learn the advanced chess mindset, get advanced game analysis, and develop competitive strategies.
