COURSE OVERVIEW
A great photo can capture a memorable moment, be a profile picture, or even a work of art. Whether it’s a portrait, selfie, landscape, or an object, Extra Ed’s photography program teaches the ins and outs of composition, colour-composition, focal length, filters, and much more.
Students are divided into groups based on level, and work both individually and with others. Beginners take and edit many photos while examining the basics of what makes a good photograph and how cameras function, including aperture, shutter speed and ISO. More advanced levels work with editing software on merging techniques, creating ads, movie posters, and formatting images in a sequence.
The skill of taking, and editing, great photos lasts a lifetime, so come join the fun!
Important Notes: All levels of this program involve the participants taking photos of many things, including each other.
