Ukulele<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>

Little hands, big songs.<\/strong><\/h3>

Move those fingers.<\/span><\/strong> Ideally suited to young hands, playing the ukulele fine tunes fine-motor skills. Our students practice strumming, picking, and chord formation as they progress from simple exercises to playing full songs.<\/p>

Join the band.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> While our students each progress at their own pace, based on age and experience level, we always make time to play as a group, so that everyone shares in the joy of making music together.<\/p>

Get individual instruction.<\/span><\/strong> Our instructors take time with each student to assess their skill level, offer individual feedback, promote good technical habits, and find the right songs to engage their musical tastes.<\/p>\n\t

Take your ukulele home with you.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h2>

Extra Ed provides ukuleles with nylon strings to each student. Between classes students take their instruments home to practice and serenade their families (the serenade is optional).<\/p><\/div>\n
