Kindergarten Chess<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>

Welcome to chess.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> With the aim of blending fun, education, and character development, our program introduces young players to the key foundational aspects of the game\u2014starting with taking turns!<\/p>

Games within a game.<\/span><\/strong> Breaking down the game into smaller, more digestible activities, we use exercises and puzzles to teach concepts such as attacking with diagonal movements or how to position multiple pieces in concert with each other.<\/p>

Every piece a story.<\/span><\/strong> We teach the roles of each chess piece in an inventive, kindergarten-relatable fashion. Through a combination of imaginative stories, dramatic play, and hands-on practice students will learn movement, positioning and strengths.<\/p>\n\t

We keep things fresh by bringing a new activity, theme, or lesson to every class. Every term students sign up, they'll experience something unique and new. <\/p>

Chess isn't just a game, it's a lesson in sportsmanship and resilience. Our kindergarten course introduces young players to chess with an emphasis on respect, fair play, and graceful behaviour\u2014both on and off the board.<\/p><\/div>\n
